Selection will be based on a priority-based merit system:
Priority Order:
- First Priority: Widow/legally divorced/abandoned women from families living below the poverty line (BPL) residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward
- Second Priority: Women from families living below the poverty line (BPL) in the same Gram Sabha/Ward
- Third Priority: Widow/divorced/abandoned women above the poverty line residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward
- Fourth Priority: Women from families above the poverty line residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward
Merit Determination: Merit will be determined based on marks obtained from Intermediate to Postgraduate level.
Required Certificates:
- For widows: Death certificate from Gram Panchayat Officer/Municipal body and certified family register copy
- For divorced/abandoned: Legal orders from Hon’ble Court
- Income certificate issued by competent authority (as per Government Order dated 30.09.2021)

As on 01-01-2026:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
