🎓 Educational Qualifications
Candidates must fulfill ONE of the following criteria:
Option 1: Master’s Degree Holders
- M.Tech/M.E/M.S from a reputed institute in:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Ocean Engineering
- Minimum CGPA: 8.00 out of 10 OR 75% marks
Option 2: Bachelor’s Degree Holders with GATE/NET
- B.Tech/B.E/M.Sc/MCA from a reputed institute in relevant engineering fields
- Must have: Valid GATE or NET score
- Minimum CGPA: 8.00 out of 10 OR 75% marks
Selection Criteria
Candidates must be selected through:
- CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship)
- GATE
- National-level exams by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR
- Selection by IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.
Relevant Experience (Preferred)
- Experience in developing CFD solvers and numerical simulations using ANSYS-FLUENT, OR
- Experience in Water Tunnel experiments, data acquisition systems, and high-speed imaging systems
💰 Fellowship Amount
Monthly Stipend: Up to ₹31,000/-
The exact amount depends on qualification and experience
🎯 Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Educational qualifications and CGPA/percentage
- GATE/NET scores
- Relevant research experience
- Performance in interview/selection process
⏳ Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 28 years (as on the last date of application)
Age Relaxation
- 5 years additional relaxation for:
- SC/ST candidates
- OBC candidates
- Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped candidates
- Female applicants
- Further relaxation may be considered by the selection committee for highly qualified and experienced candidates
