🎯 Selection Process

Three-Stage Selection

Stage 1: Application Scrutiny

  • All applications will be thoroughly checked for eligibility criteria
  • Only shortlisted candidates will receive admit cards for further stages

Stage 2: Written Examination

  • Pen and paper-based test
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Qualifying Marks:
    • General/EWS/OBC: 50%
    • SC/ST: 45%
  • Biometric/Mobile verification will be done before the exam

Stage 3: Trade Test (wherever applicable)

  • Practical test for technical posts like Welder, Engine Driver
  • Only candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for trade test

Final Merit List:

  • Prepared based on marks obtained in written examination and trade test performance
  • Merit list will be published on the ICG website

Important: Candidates can write the exam only with an ink-signed admit card/call letter.
