These positions are for regularization of existing contractual and state pool teachers who have completed minimum 3 years of continuous service under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) in Assam.

Who Can Apply?
This recruitment is ONLY for candidates who meet ALL the following criteria:
Mandatory Eligibility Conditions:
- Current Employment Status
- Must be working as a Contractual Teacher OR State Pool Teacher under SSA
- Employment status as on 30 September 2025
- Service Duration
- Must have completed minimum 3 years of continuous service as on 30 September 2025
- Service should be as Contractual/State Pool Teacher under SSA
- Academic & Professional Qualifications
- Required qualifications will be as per NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) norms
- Must meet existing government rules and conditions
- Generally includes:
- Bachelor’s Degree (for Upper Primary)
- B.Ed (Bachelor of Education)
- Specific subject requirements as per NCTE guidelines
Important Note: You can only apply for the same category of post that you are currently holding (i.e., if you’re a Lower Primary teacher, apply only for Lower Primary position).
💰 Salary Details (per month)
Pay Structure
Pay Band: PB-2 (Pay Band-2)
Salary Range: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000
Initial Pay: ₹14,000/-
Additional Benefits:
- Grade Pay as applicable
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- House Rent Allowance (HRA)
- Other allowances as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019”
