🎓 Educational Qualifications

For Junior Scientific Officer (JSO) – 27 Posts

You must have:

  • Master’s Degree (M.Sc./M.S.) with First Class in any of these specializations:
    • Chemistry
    • Soil Science
    • Environmental Science
    • Microbiology
  • Plus a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc./B.S.) in any Science discipline
  • Degree from a University established by Law in India OR Foreign Qualification recognized as equivalent

For Junior Environmental Engineer (JEE) – 73 Posts

You must have either:

Option 1 (Preferred):

  • Master’s Degree (M.Tech./M.E.) in Environmental Engineering with First Class
  • Followed by Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech./B.E.) in any of these engineering branches:
    • Biotechnology
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Civil Engineering
    • Mining Engineering
    • Environmental Engineering
    • Textile Engineering

Option 2 (Also Eligible):

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech./B.E.) with First Class in any of the above engineering branches
  • Degree from a University established by Law in India OR Foreign Qualification recognized as equivalent
