• House Surgeon Certificate: Completion of House Surgeon training (CRRI – Compulsory Rotating Residential Internship) for a minimum of 12 months
• Tamil Nadu Registration: Must be registered with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council by the notification date (21st November 2025)
• Language Qualification: Must clear the Tamil Eligibility Test at SSLC (10th standard) level (exemption available for Persons with Disabilities as per rules)

This is the official government salary structure following the new pay commission guidelines. Along with salary, you’ll receive additional benefits including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Leave Travel Concession (LTC), and other statutory benefits as per government rules. 🎯 Selection Process

The selection is merit-based and follows a transparent two-stage process:

Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

• Format: 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions
• Subject: Medical Science at undergraduate (UG) level
• Duration: Time limit to be specified in admit card
• Plus Points: COVID-19 duty incentive marks if applicable (for those who served in government institutions)

Stage 2: Document Verification

• Shortlisted candidates (based on exam performance and merit rank) must produce original certificates

Q1: Can I apply if I’m not registered with Tamil Nadu Medical Council yet? A: No. You must be registered with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council by 21st November 2025 (notification date) to be eligible.

Q2: What if I completed my House Surgeon training more than 1 year ago? A: That’s perfectly fine. The requirement is a minimum of 12 months of House Surgeon training, and it doesn’t matter when you completed it.
