🎓 Educational Qualifications

For Assistant Manager:

Education: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and analyze all MIS reports related to the assigned area (Head Offices, Sub Offices, Branch Offices, Individual Business Correspondents)
  • Conduct regular field visits to promote IPPB business through organizing Business Camps, Financial Literacy Camps, and promotional events
  • Assist end users in resolving queries on business operations, device handling, and technology-related issues
  • Support end users in onboarding by allocating devices, SIM cards, inventory, and providing training materials

For Junior Associate:

Education: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with channel partners to drive sales and marketing initiatives
  • Sell all available banking products and services
  • Identify and onboard Individual Business Correspondents for activation and revenue generation
  • Assist end users in onboarding with device allocation, SIM cards, inventory, and training support
  • Identify potential business areas and organize sales campaigns near access points
  • Interact with Department of Posts offices (HOs, SOs, BOs) to generate revenue through cross-selling and lead generation

💰 Stipend / Salary Details (per month)

Officers/employees appointed on deputation/foreign service may elect to draw either:

Option 1: Pay in the scale of the deputation/foreign service post

Option 2: Basic pay in the parent cadre + Deputation allowance + Personal pay (if any)

The salary structure will be determined based on the candidate’s current grade and as per government rules.


🎯 Selection Process

The selection process includes the following stages:

  1. Merit List Preparation: Banking outlet-wise merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in graduation
  2. Tie-Breaking Rule: In case candidates have equal graduation percentages, selection will be based on the earlier date of birth
  3. Assessment (if required): The Bank reserves the right to conduct:
    • Online Test
    • Group Discussion
    • Personal Interview
    • Assessment exercises

Important Points:

  • Candidates must fill the exact percentage of marks obtained in graduation up to two decimal places
  • Percentage will be calculated by dividing marks obtained by aggregate maximum marks in all subjects across all semesters/years
  • This applies irrespective of honors/optional/additional optional subjects
  • Rounding off of percentages is NOT acceptable

⏳ Age Limit

For Assistant Manager:

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 35 years
  • (As on November 01, 2025)

For Junior Associate:

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 32 years
  • (As on November 01, 2025)

Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules for reserved categories
