Technician Apprentice (67 Posts)
Diploma holders in Commercial Practice can apply for this position. This is the larger group of positions available. If sufficient applications are not received from both disciplines, vacancies can be filled by interchanging between streams.
Eligibility: First Class Diploma in Commercial Practice (3-year duration) from a State Board of Technical Education.
🎓 Educational Qualifications
For Graduate Apprentice:
- Bachelor’s Degree (3-year duration) from a recognized university
- Minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32
- Any stream (non-engineering)
For Technician Apprentice:
- First Class Diploma in Commercial Practice (3-year duration)
- From a State Board of Technical Education (any state in India)
Important Eligibility Conditions:
- Degree/Diploma must have been acquired on or after April 2021 (not before)
- Final year appearing candidates are eligible
- Must not have completed 5 years from the month/year of passing the degree/diploma
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 are NOT eligible
- Candidates with one or more years of prior apprenticeship experience are NOT eligible
- Candidates from Southern Region universities (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Puducherry) get priority
