🎓 Educational Qualifications

Essential Qualification:

• Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from any university established under Central or State Act in India, or any institution recognized/deemed as university under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956

Additional Requirements:

• Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Computer Application as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
• Language: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both
• Registration: Must get registered with Indian Association of Physiotherapist (if not already registered at time of application)
• Future Registration: Must register with Gujarat State Council for Physiotherapist once the council is constituted under the Gujarat State Council for Physiotherapist Act, 2011

First 5 Years:

• Fixed Pay: ₹49,600/- per month

After 5 Years (Upon satisfactory service):

• Pay Scale: ₹39,900 – ₹1,26,600/- (7th Pay Commission Level-7)
• Regular appointment with government benefits as per applicable resolutions

🎯 Selection Process

Written Examination (Computer Based Response Test/OMR Method):

The examination consists of TWO PARTS – both compulsory:

Part-A (60 Marks, 60 Questions):

• Logical Tests and Data Interpretation: 30 marks
• Mathematical Tests: 30 marks

Part-B (150 Marks, 150 Questions):

• Indian Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati and English Comprehension: 30 marks
• Subject-related questions and their application: 120 marks

Examination Details:

• Total Questions: 210 (Part-A: 60 + Part-B: 150)
• Total Marks: 210
• Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
• Negative Marking: 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer
• Qualifying Standard: Minimum 40% marks required separately in BOTH Part-A and Part-B (applicable to all categories)

Merit List Preparation:

• Based on total marks obtained in both parts (after meeting qualifying standards)
• Approximately twice the number of vacancies will be called for certificate verification based on merit
• Final selection based on merit, subject to document verification and medical fitness
