Essential Qualification:
- Full-time Diploma in Engineering in:

- Production Engineering
- Production & Industrial Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Mechanical & Automobile Engineering
Higher Qualifications:
- Candidates with Degree/PG Degree in the same discipline are also eligible
Minimum Marks Required:
- General/EWS: 50% marks in qualifying examination
- SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD: 45% marks (against reserved posts)
Recognition:
- Diploma/Degree must be recognized by AICTE/BTE from a university incorporated by Central/State legislature
- Sections A & B examination of Institution of Engineers (India) equivalent to Degree is also accepted
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification work experience in relevant field of Engineering
- Apprenticeship training (as per The Apprenticeship Act 1961) in relevant discipline will be considered
- Training/internship/teaching/academic/fellowship/PhD research experience will NOT be counted
Desirable:
- Domain experience in relevant field of Mechanical Engineering
- Practical experience in engineering projects

- PWD Candidates: Additional compensatory time of 50 minutes
