Overview

CSIR Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CEERI), Pilani, is inviting applications for 34 apprentice positions under the Apprentices Act, 1961. 🎓 Educational Qualifications

For Most Trades (Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Electronic Mechanic, Machinist, COPA, PASAA, RAC):

• 10th Class Pass (or equivalent) from a recognized board
• National Trade Certificate ITI in the concerned trade from NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training)

For Welder Trade Only:

• 8th Class Pass (or equivalent) from a recognized board
• National Trade Certificate ITI in the Welder trade from NCVT

💰 Stipend / Salary Details (per month)

The monthly stipend depends on your ITI course duration:

• 1-Year ITI Course: Rs. 9,600/- per month
• 2-Year ITI Course: Rs. 10,560/- per month

Note: No residence allowance or HRA (House Rent Allowance) is provided by the institute. This is a stipend-based position, not a salary position.

🎯 Selection Process

The selection of apprentices will be based on:

Merit-Based Selection – Candidates will be selected based on the percentage of marks obtained in their minimum qualification (10th or 8th class pass) and their ITI marks.

Scrutiny Committee – The institute’s scrutiny committee will evaluate applications and prepare a merit list for final selection.

Maximum Age: 28 years as on December 31, 2025

Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD (Persons with Disability) candidates as per Government of India guidelines.
