🎓 Educational Qualifications Required

To be eligible for the Security Guard position, you must have:

Basic Qualification:

  • Pass in X Standard (10th) / SSLC / Matriculation from a recognized board

Military Service Requirement:

  • Minimum 15 years of service in Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force (as on crucial date)
  • Must have held rank of Havildar/Petty Officer/Sergeant or below
  • Registered with District Sainik Welfare Board (as on crucial date)

Performance & Medical Standards:

  • Performance Rating: At least “Very Good” (as per Discharge Certificate)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Tamil (local language)

💰 Salary Details (Per Month)

Pay Scale: Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 81,000 (W-3 Grade)

The selection follows a comprehensive 3-stage merit-based process:

Stage 1: Written Test (100 marks – 70% weightage)

  • Total Questions: 100 objective type
  • Duration: 120 minutes

    • Part-II: Quantitative Aptitude (30 questions)

Stage 2: Service Weightage & Performance Rating (20 marks – 15% weightage)

  • Performance Rating: Excellent/Outstanding = 10 marks | Very Good = 8 marks (Maximum 20 marks)

Stage 3: Physical Test (30 marks – 15% weightage)
