🎓 Educational Qualifications

For Graduate Apprentice (Engineering Stream):

  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / B.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines
  • Minimum Marks: 65% aggregate or CGPA 6.84/10
  • Graduation must be completed within stipulated course duration
  • Qualification acquired: From recognized university/board through regular mode only

For Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering Stream):

  • B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. (any stream)
  • Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate or CGPA 6.32/10
  • Qualification acquired: From recognized university/board through regular mode only

For Technician Apprentice:

  • Diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant disciplines
  • Requirement: Must be First Class (60%+)
  • Qualification acquired: From recognized board through regular mode only

Important Eligibility Conditions:

  • Qualifications must be acquired in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025
  • NOT Eligible: Candidates with 1+ year job experience in relevant field
  • NOT Eligible: Ex-apprentices from any organization
  • All qualifications must be from AICTE/UGC recognized institutions

💰 Salary & Stipend (Per Month)

Position Monthly Stipend
Graduate Apprentice ₹9,000/month
Technician Apprentice ₹8,000/month

Payment Structure:

  • Half Amount: Paid by IPRC (ISRO)
  • Half Amount: Paid by BOAT under DBT Scheme (Government)
  • Total: Full stipend as mentioned above

Important Note:

  • Stipend is provided only during the one-year apprenticeship period
  • No additional benefits like medical insurance, travel allowance, or accommodation provided
  • After completion of apprenticeship, no permanent employment is guaranteed

⏳ Age Limit (As on December 20, 2025)

Technician Apprentice 35 years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years additional relaxation
  • OBC Candidates: 3 years additional relaxation
  • PwD Candidates: Relaxation as per Government of India norms

Example: A General category graduate can be max 28 years old; an SC graduate can be up to 33 years old.


🎯 Selection Process

Simple & Transparent Process:

Step 1: Download & Fill Application Form

  • Visit www.iprc.gov.in
  • Download the official apprenticeship application form
  • Fill all details neatly and accurately
  • Gather all required documents (see below)

Step 2: Walk-In Interview

  • Report on scheduled date (10-11 January 2026)
  • Bring original documents and self-attested copies
  • Carry valid photo ID (Aadhar, Electoral ID, etc.)

Step 3: Document Verification

  • Your qualifications and age will be verified
  • Check that all documents are authentic and properly attested

Step 4: Merit-Based Selection

  • Selection based purely on highest marks in qualifying examination
  • Reservation categories get due weightage
  • Merit list will be displayed at IPRC

Step 5: Offer & Enrollment

  • Selected candidates will receive apprenticeship offer
  • Enrollment under Apprentices Act, 1961
  • One-year training begins
