🎓 Educational Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Must be registered with State Medical Council / MCI / NMC (National Medical Commission)
• MD/MS or DNB in relevant medical specialty (as per position applied)
• For DNB candidates: Must meet MCI notification requirements dated 31-10-2018

For Different Positions:

• Professor & Additional Professor: MD/MS/DM/MCh with significant experience
• Associate Professor & Assistant Professor: MD/MS or equivalent qualification with required experience
• DNB Equivalence: DNB candidates must provide documentary evidence of equivalence with MD/MS/DM/MCh

Important: All qualifications must be obtained and experience must be counted only after obtaining the prescribed degree.

💰 Salary & Allowances (Per Month)

NPA = Non-Practising Allowance for medical qualifications

Retired Faculty (Contract Basis): Fixed monthly amount after deducting basic pension from the pay last drawn at retirement + Residential accommodation (with applicable deductions).

🎯 Selection Process

The selection is merit-based and consists of the following steps:

1. Application Screening: Applications received before the deadline with complete documents and fee will be screened.
2. Eligibility Assessment: A scrutiny committee reviews all applications to verify eligibility criteria. Merely meeting eligibility doesn’t guarantee an interview call.
3. Shortlisting: If the number of applicants is large, additional criteria may be used including a written examination if necessary. Selection is based on:
   • Experience duration and nature
   • Patient care capability
   • Teaching and training skills
   • Research and publications quality
   • Administrative experience
4. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for interview by the Standing Selection Committee (SSC).
5. Presentation: Candidates must present their work/achievements (maximum 5 minutes) using PowerPoint on a Pen Drive.
6. Final Selection: Interview decision is final and binding. Selected candidates will be offered appointment letters subject to medical fitness and document verification.
