🎓 Educational Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

1. Master’s Degree in the concerned/relevant discipline with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade)
2. Essential: Must have qualified in any one of the following:
   • NET (National Eligibility Test)
   • SLET (State Level Eligibility Test)
   • SET (State Eligibility Test)
   • OR Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2016
3. Desirable: Ph.D. Degree as per UGC Regulations 2016

Important Notes:

• Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Transgender candidates (from 55% to 50%)
• Experience requirements as prescribed under UGC norms will apply
• NET/SET not required for Ph.D. holders as per UGC guidelines

⏳ Age Limit

Age limit and relaxations will be as per UGC/Government of Tamil Nadu norms:

• Upper Age Limit: As per UGC regulations for Assistant Professor posts
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years
  • OBC candidates: 3 years
  • PWD candidates: 10 years
  • Ex-servicemen: As per government rules
