🎓 Educational Qualifications

To apply for this position, you must have:

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from a recognized medical college

PLUS any ONE of the following:

  • MD/MS degree in relevant specialty from a recognized university
  • DNB (Diplomate of National Board) degree in relevant specialty
  • DNB Diploma in relevant specialty

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid registration with Punjab Medical Council OR Medical Council of India
  • Passed Punjabi subject up to Matric (10th standard) level
  • Must possess a valid medical license

💰 Stipend / Salary Details (Fee-Based Structure)

This is a fee-per-service model where compensation is earned based on services rendered:

Anesthesia Charges (for major surgeries) Rs. 2,000

Minimum Assured Income:

  • 50-150 OPD patients per day OR
  • 2-20 IPD patients per day

Bonus Earning:

  • Additional Rs. 100 per patient above minimum limit (calculated monthly)
  • Payment calculated on average patients attended, not less than minimum assured amount (if doctor attends all working days)

Important Note:

  • No other allowances, perks, or bonus beyond the fee-per-service structure
  • No DA (Dearness Allowance) or HRA (House Rent Allowance)
  • No monthly salary – purely on performance and patients attended

🎯 Selection Process

The selection process is simple and straightforward:

Step 1: Document Verification

  • Verify your original educational certificates and medical license at the interview venue

Step 2: Walk-in Interview

  • Appear in person on one of the designated walk-in dates
  • Interview conducted by the Civil Surgeon’s office of your respective district
