🎓 Educational Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Must hold a bachelor’s degree from any university incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India, or an educational institution established by an Act of Parliament, or a deemed university under Section-3 of UGC Act 1956, or an approved foreign university
  • Odia Language Requirement: Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak Odia. Proof required through any ONE of:
    • Passed Middle School exam with Odia as a language subject
    • Passed High School or equivalent exam with Odia as medium
    • Passed Odia as a language subject in final exam of Class-VII from recognized school
    • Passed Odia test in Middle English School standard conducted by Government of Odisha
  • Citizenship: Indian Citizen only
  • Marital Status: Candidate with more than one spouse living (or woman married to person having one spouse) is ineligible (unless exempted by Government)
  • Character & Health: Good moral character, sound mental and physical health, free from physical defects
  • Government Servants: Eligible if they obtain No Objection Certificate from competent authority

The recruitment follows a comprehensive 3-stage selection process:

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

    • General Studies Paper-I: 200 marks (2 hours)
