🎓 Educational Qualifications

To apply for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in your concerned subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university

**AND

  • Either National Eligibility Test (NET) passed in your subject (conducted by UGC or CSIR)
  • OR State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) passed
  • OR Ph.D. Degree awarded as per UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016

Additional Requirements for Ph.D. Candidates:

If you hold a Ph.D., you must have:

  • Completed your Ph.D. in regular mode (not distance)
  • Had your thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners
  • Completed an open Ph.D. viva voce (oral examination)
  • Published at least two research papers from your Ph.D. work (at least one in a peer-reviewed journal)
  • Presented at least two papers at conferences sponsored by UGC, ICSSR, CSIR, or similar bodies

Note: Ph.D. holders are exempt from NET/SLET/SET requirements if all above conditions are met.
