🎓 Educational Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Qualification:

  • Post Graduate Degree (PG) in the concerned Broad Speciality OR any other equivalent degree/qualification prescribed by Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC) from time to time

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 1 year of post PG experience as Senior Resident or Tutorship in the concerned subject
  • OR As specified for DNB candidates:
    • 1 year for institutions with 500+ beds
    • 2 years for institutions with less than 500 beds

Exemption: Candidates who were already appointed as Assistant Professor before June 8, 2017, are exempted from experience requirement.
