🎓 Educational Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

MBBS degree from a recognized university (as per National Medical Commission – NMC)

Completed internship with Internship Completion Certificate

Registration with any State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC)

MBBS course (including internship) completed not earlier than 3 years before the start date (i.e., on or after 31 January 2023)

Important Eligibility Conditions:

  • Candidates who have already completed 2 terms of Junior Residency (whether at AIIMS or outside) are NOT eligible
  • Each 6-month period counts as one term, regardless of actual duration worked
  • Military/Army service, Central Health Services, Private practice experience will be counted as equivalent to Junior Residency terms
  • Must not have any criminal convictions or pending criminal cases

🎯 Selection Process

The recruitment follows a simple walk-in selection process:

Stage 1 – Document Verification (09:30 AM onwards)

  • Your educational qualifications, medical registration, and eligibility criteria are verified
  • Category certificates are checked
  • Age verification done

Stage 2 – Walk-in Interview (10:00 AM onwards)

  • Face-to-face interview conducted by the selection committee
  • Assessment of knowledge, clinical aptitude, and suitability for the position

Stage 3 – Final Selection

  • Selection made based on interview performance and document verification

📋 Terms of Engagement

Duration of Appointment:

  • Initial tenure: 6 months (contractual/tenure basis)
  • Automatic termination after 6 months
  • Extension possibility: Can be extended for additional 6-month periods based on performance and institutional requirement

Nature of Employment:

  • This is a temporary/contractual position
  • No claim for regular/permanent appointment
  • No claim for permanent absorption or continued contractual employment
  • Can be terminated anytime without notice if performance is unsatisfactory
  • Employee may resign with 1 month notice or salary in lieu

Conditions of Service:

  • Whole-time position – private practice strictly prohibited
  • May be required to work in shifts, including Trauma, Emergency Medicine, and other areas as needed
