🎓 Educational Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Medical Degree:
- A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule OR Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
- Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule must also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
- Internship:
- Compulsory rotation internship certificate
- Registration:
- Valid registration with Central/State Medical Council
Desirable:
- Experience certificate (if any) will be considered
Note: Candidates must possess original certificates/provisional certificates at the time of interview

The salary varies based on the posting location:

Important Terms & Conditions:
Contract Duration:
- Initially 1 year or till regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier
- Contract will lapse automatically after this period
- Can be terminated by either party with 1 month notice or 1 month salary in lieu
- Can be terminated if performance is unsatisfactory within 3 months
Service Conditions:
- Whole-time appointment – no private practice allowed
- Cannot accept any other paid/unpaid appointment during contract period
- May be assigned any duty as required by competent authority
- Must work in any part of Andaman & Nicobar Islands as assigned
- Medical fitness certificate required before joining
Benefits NOT Applicable:

- Seniority or promotion rights
- TA for joining
- Any benefits available to regular government employees
Disqualification:
- False declaration or suppression of material information leads to immediate removal
