🎓 Educational Qualifications
For Clinical & Non-Clinical Posts:
- Qualification: PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in concerned specialty from MCI/NMC recognized institutions
- Experience: 1 year Senior Residency completion from recognized institute (mandatory after PG completion)
- Qualification must be possessed as on 01-01-2026
For Super Specialty Posts:
- Qualification: PG Degree (DM/MCh/DNB/DrNB) in concerned super specialty from MCI/NMC recognized institutions
- Experience: Senior Residency NOT required for super specialties
- Qualification must be possessed as on 01-01-2026
Additional Requirements:
- AP Medical Council Registration Certificate (mandatory)
- Only Local Candidates of Andhra Pradesh are eligible
- Local candidate definition: Studied from 4th to 10th class in Andhra Pradesh OR migrated from Telangana to AP within 3 years from 02-06-2014
Important Notes:
- Candidates already working as Assistant Professors under Director of Medical Education, AP are not eligible
- DNB candidates from non-NMC recognized institutions must complete one additional year of Senior Residency
- No contract weightage for doctors working on regular basis or who rendered contract service before PG qualification
💰 Salary Details (per month)
Basic Pay: Rs. 68,900 – 2,05,500 (As per 7th UGC Pay Scales)
Additional Benefits:
- Super Specialty Assistant Professors will receive an additional allowance of Rs. 30,000/- per month
- Other allowances as per government rules

🎯 Selection Process
Total Marks: 100
Selection based on merit calculated as follows:

Contract Service Weightage:
- COVID-19 Duties: 5 marks per 6 months (0.83 mark per completed month)
- Tribal Area Service: 2.5 marks per 6 months
- Rural Area Service: 2.0 marks per 6 months
- Urban Area Service: 1.0 mark per 6 months
Note:
- Contract service only after PG qualification in respective specialty will be considered
- Minimum 6 months required (except COVID duty – monthly calculation)
- Certificates must be issued by competent authority in prescribed format

Age Range: 18 to 42 years (as on 01-07-2025)
