🎓 Educational Qualifications Required

Candidates must possess full-time regular graduation/diploma/ITI qualification from recognized institutions:

For Graduate Apprentices (B.E./B.Tech):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ECE, Mechanical, EEE, CSE, or Civil) from AICTE-recognized university
  • Degree should be completed on or after 01 April 2021
  • Minimum 60% marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates
  • Minimum 50% marks for SC/ST candidates

For Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:

  • Diploma from DOTE-recognized polytechnic (Electronics or Mechanical Engineering)
  • Diploma should be completed on or after 01 April 2021

For Optional Apprentices (B.Com/BBA/BBM):

Q5: Can I apply if I have done a distance/correspondence degree?

A: No. Only full-time regular degrees/diplomas are eligible. Distance education candidates cannot apply.

Q6: What is the difference between apprenticeship and permanent job?

A: Apprenticeship is a training program for 12 months where you earn a stipend. After successful completion, you may be offered a permanent job with BEL, but it’s not guaranteed. However, it gives you valuable experience and a chance to join BEL.
