🎓 Educational Qualifications
Project Research Scientist – III (Non-Medical) – Post 1
- Essential: Postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology/Cognitive & Neuroscience/Clinical Pharmacy/Psychology/Public Health/Psychiatric Social Work/Social Work/Sociology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Chemistry with 5 years experience OR with PhD + 2 years experience
- Desirable: Experience in Public Health/Implementation Research with publications
Project Research Scientist – III (Non-Medical) – Post 2
- Essential: Postgraduate degree in relevant fields with 3 years experience OR with PhD
- Desirable: Publications related to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy/Depression/Anxiety
Field Supervisor
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health/Nursing/Life Sciences/Social Work/Allied Health Sciences
- Minimum 2 years community-based health project experience
- Familiarity with digital data collection tools
Project Research Scientist – I (Medical)
- MBBS degree from a recognized university/institute
Project Technical Support – III (Post 5)
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) with 3 years experience OR Master of Physiotherapy (MPT)
- Desirable: 2 years experience in pulmonary rehabilitation/community health
Project Technical Support – II
- 12th Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + 5 years experience OR Graduation (BMLT/Nursing) + 2 years experience
Project Research Scientist – II (Non-Medical)
- Postgraduate in Public Health/Epidemiology/Biostatistics/Life Sciences/Health Sciences with 3 years experience OR with PhD
- Desirable: Experience in oral cancer/NCD research, training, data analysis
Project Technical Support – III (Post 7ii)
- Graduate in relevant health sciences with 3 years experience OR Postgraduate degree
- Desirable: Experience in field work, data management
Project Technical Support – I
- Three-year Graduate degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Microbiology with 1 year experience OR 10th + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + 2 years experience
- Desirable: Experience in dengue/vector-borne disease research

🎯 Selection Process
- For less than 30 candidates: Direct walk-in interview
- For more than 30 candidates: Written test followed by interview
- Qualifying Marks: SC/ST – 35% | UR/OBC/EWS – 40%
- Top 5 candidates per position will be shortlisted for interview (if written test conducted)
- Final merit based on written test + interview performance

⚠️ Important Notes
- These are temporary project positions with no guarantee of permanency
- Candidates who have worked in ICMR Projects for more than 3 years are not eligible
- Selected candidates must work for at least 1 month, failing which emoluments will be forfeited
- Employment can be terminated with 1 month notice from either side
- Currently employed candidates must bring NOC from their employer
- Results will be published on ICMR-NIIRNCD and ICMR websites
