đ Educational Qualifications
Basic Requirement: Candidates must have passed 10th Standard (Matric) or equivalent under the 10+2 system of education.
For Specific Trades:
- Trades requiring ITI: For positions like Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Draughtsman (Civil), COPA, Instrument Mechanic, and Solar Technician, candidates must possess an ITI certificate from the relevant trade issued by a recognized institute.
- Trades not requiring ITI: For Blaster (Mines) and Driver Cum Mechanic (LMV), 10th pass is sufficient.
Important Note on Experience: Candidates who have completed their ITI training must provide an affidavit (non-judicial stamp paper) stating they have not previously undergone apprenticeship training or taken employment elsewhere. This is a mandatory requirement.

HCL is recruiting apprentices for various technical and operational roles. Merit-Based Selection: Candidates will be selected based on a merit list prepared using the following weightage:
- 30% weightage to marks obtained in ITI (for applicable trades)
- 70% weightage to marks obtained in 10th Board examination
- For trades not requiring ITI (Blaster & Driver Cum Mechanic): 100% weightage will be given to 10th Board marks
CGPA Conversion: If your 10th marks are in CGPA format, they will be converted to percentage by multiplying with 9.5.
Tiebreaker Rule: If two or more candidates secure equal marks, the candidate with a higher age will be considered for selection.
Medical Fitness Requirement: Selected candidates must undergo medical examination as per HCL’s standards. Medical fitness is mandatory for final engagement.
