🎓 Educational Qualifications
For Professor:
- Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals
- Total research score of 120 (as per UGC Regulations-2018)
- 10 years teaching/research experience with evidence of guiding doctoral candidates
For Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks
- 8 years teaching/research experience
- Minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Research score of 75 (as per UGC Regulations-2018)
For Assistant Professor:
- Master’s degree with 55% marks in relevant subject
- NET/SLET/SET qualified OR Ph.D. degree (as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016)
- Ph.D. from top 500 world-ranked foreign universities are exempt from NET
For Deputy Librarian:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science with 55% marks
- 8 years experience as Assistant University Librarian
- Ph.D. in Library Science preferred
- Knowledge of ICT integration in library services
For Assistant Librarian:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science with 55% marks
- NET qualified OR Ph.D. degree
- Knowledge of library computerization

🎯 Selection Process
For Assistant Professor:
- Shortlisting based on academic score (minimum 60 required)
- Up to 50 candidates per vacancy called for interview
- Final selection based on interview performance
For Professor & Associate Professor:
- Shortlisting as per UGC guidelines
- Up to 10 candidates per vacancy called for interview
- Academic score used for shortlisting only
- Final selection based solely on interview performance
Document Verification: Original documents must be produced during interview.
⏳ Age Limit
Age of retirement will be as per UGC/NCERT/Government of India norms applicable on the closing date (20th February 2026).
Relaxation: Age relaxation provided to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PWD candidates as per government rules.
PWD Candidates: Must have minimum 40% disability certified by competent medical board.
