🎓 Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• MBBS Degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India
• MD/DNB in Psychiatry or equivalent postgraduate degree from an NMC recognized institution
• Valid Registration with NMC or Jammu & Kashmir State Medical Council for both MBBS and PG Psychiatry qualification

Domicile Requirement: Must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir

💰 Salary Details (per month)

Monthly Salary: ₹85,000/- (Consolidated)

Employment Type: Contractual basis under National Health Mission

Contract Duration:

• Initial contract valid up to 31st March of the current financial year
• Renewable annually based on satisfactory performance
• Extension subject to approval from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India

🎯 Selection Process

The selection will be conducted through the following stages:

1. Application Screening – Verification of eligibility and completeness of documents
2. Merit List Preparation – District-wise merit based on academic qualifications (MBBS marks up to 60 points, PG qualification 10-20 points)
3. Viva-Voce (Interview) – Assessment of knowledge, experience, and suitability (20 points)
4. Final Selection – Combined merit from academic scores and interview performance
