💰 Stipend Details (per month)
Stipend is paid as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and IOCL guidelines. Additional benefits include:
- Safety Equipment: One pair of safety shoes & helmet (for Chemical Plant, Fitter, Technician trades)
- Leave: 32 days total during training (including medical); 12 casual leave days per year (pro-rata)
- Insurance: Accident insurance coverage provided
- Accommodation / HRA: Not provided

🎯 Selection Process
No written test at all! Selection is purely based on merit:
- Merit List — Ranked by percentage of marks in prescribed qualifying examination (descending order)
- Tie-breaker: Senior by age (DOB) takes priority; if same DOB, higher Matriculation percentage wins
- Preference given to candidates applying for apprenticeship for the first time
- Document Verification for shortlisted candidates
- Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Test
- Final Engagement
