🎓 Educational Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following minimum educational requirements:
- For Backward Tribes: Class 6th Passed from NBSE or equivalent recognized Board
- For Indigenous Naga Tribes of Nagaland: Class 8th Passed from NBSE or equivalent recognized Board
💰 Stipend / Salary Details
Pay Matrix: Level-3 (Grade Pay ₹1,800)

🎯 Selection Process
The recruitment follows a multi-stage selection process:
1. Physical/Medical Standards Test (PST)
Candidates must meet the required physical standards:
For Male Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 5’3″ (162 cm)
- Chest: Normal – 78 cm (Min), Expanded – 83 cm
- Weight: Proportionate to height as per medical standards
For Female Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 5’0″ (152 cm)
- Chest: Normal – 74 cm (Min), Expanded – 79 cm
- Weight: Proportionate to height as per medical standards
Medical Tests Include: Eye sight, color blindness, varicose veins, flat feet, knocked knees, squint eyes, deformities, drug screening (Opioid Test), and alcohol abuse test.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Only physically/medically fit candidates will be tested on:
- Running Race
- Pull-Up
- Long Jump
- High Jump
3. Written Examination
- Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Total Questions: 80 questions for 40 marks
- Duration: 2 hours
- Language: English only
- Topics: General Awareness, General Knowledge, Science, Indian History, Indian Polity, Social Sciences, Elementary Mathematics, Sports, Naga Culture & Heritage, Nagaland State & Naga Tribes, and Mental Aptitude
4. Interview
Candidates in the merit list (3:1 ratio – 3 candidates for 1 post) based on Outdoors and Written test will be called for interview.
5. Final Merit List
Final selection based on aggregate marks from Physical Efficiency Tests, Written Test, NCC Certification, and Interview.

- Age relaxation available for serving government employees as per Government Notifications
