🎓 Educational Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from a recognized university
- First Class in all preceding degrees (from graduation/UG onwards)
- If first class is not mentioned in marksheet, minimum 6.5 CGPA/CPI on 10-point scale or 60% marks in aggregate
- For different CGPA scales, certificate from authorized signatory confirming first class or equivalent conversion required
Institutional Eligibility (Any ONE of the following):
- At least one degree from graduation onwards from IISc/IITs/IIITs/NITs/IIMs/ISI/IISERs, OR
- Currently working in regular pay scale at one of these institutions, OR
- Degree from high-ranked foreign institutions (QS/World Ranking preferably up to 500)
Desirable: At least one publication in an SCI journal
Important Restriction:
- Inbreeding Prohibition: Candidates who completed their Ph.D. from ABV-IIITM Gwalior within the last 3 years (before 25/02/2026) are NOT eligible

🎯 Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in two phases:
Phase 1: Presentation
- Shortlisted candidates will give a presentation on teaching and research in their specialization
Phase 2: Interview
- Interview by the duly constituted Selection Committee
Shortlisting Criteria:
- Screening Committee will review applications
- Based on qualifications, area of expertise, research outputs, and experience
- Mere fulfillment of minimum qualifications doesn’t guarantee interview call
- Norms may vary across departments
