🎓 Educational Qualifications
For Regular Disciplines:
- Post Graduate Medical Degree (MD/MS) in the respective discipline from a recognized university/institute
- Valid NMC/MCI/MMC/DCI State Registration mandatory before joining
For Super Speciality Disciplines (⁺):
Essential qualification is MD/MS in specified feeder disciplines:
- Burns & Plastic Surgery: MS (General Surgery/ENT/Orthopaedics)
- Cardiology, Endocrinology, Medical Haematology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Rheumatology: MD (General Medicine/Paediatrics)
- Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology, Urology: MS (General Surgery)
- Paediatrics Surgery: MS (General Surgery)
- Neonatology: MD (Paediatrics)
- Medical Gastroenterology: MD (General Medicine)
- Candidates with DM/M.Ch in respective super speciality may also apply
For Trauma & Emergency (#):
- MD in Emergency Medicine, OR

💰 Salary Details (per month)
Pay Scale: ₹67,700/- (Level-11, Cell No. 01 as per 7th CPC)
Additional Benefits:

Note: Senior Residents will not be entitled to benefits like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity available to regular government servants.
🎯 Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted through:
- Interview/Viva-Voce: Conducted at AIIMS Nagpur
- Shortlisting (if required): In case of large number of applications, shortlisting will be done based on:
- Educational qualifications
- Additional qualifications
- Work experience
- Written test (if necessary)
- Document Verification: All original certificates will be verified at the time of interview
- Provisional Appointment: Selected candidates will receive provisional offer subject to verification by competent authority

Important Instructions:

⚠️ Important Points to Remember
Eligibility & Selection:
- Only candidates who have declared their qualifying degree results on or before January 07, 2026 are eligible
- Total Senior Residency period is 3 years maximum
- Any previous Senior Residency completed will be reduced from the 3-year tenure
- Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency are not eligible
Reservation Policy:
- 4% horizontal reservation for PwD candidates with benchmark disability
- If no EWS applications are received, UR candidates may be considered
Work Conditions:
- Appointees must conform to conduct and discipline rules
- Private practice is strictly prohibited
- No seniority or promotion benefits applicable
Certificate Requirements:
- OBC-NCL certificate must be valid for Central Government employment
- OBC certificate should match the Central OBC list
- PwD certificate must be from a duly constituted Medical Board
