🎓 Educational Qualifications Required

For Clinical & Non-Clinical Posts:

• Must have PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) from MCI/NMC recognized institutions
• Must complete 1 year Senior Residency from recognized institute after PG qualification
• AP Medical Council Registration Certificate is mandatory
• Candidates must have studied Class 4-10 in Andhra Pradesh (local candidates only)

For Super Specialty Posts:

• Must have PG Degree (DNB/DrNB/DM/MCh) in the respective super specialty from MCI/NMC recognized institutions
• Senior Residency is NOT required for super specialties

🎯 Selection Process – How Merit is Calculated

Selection is based on Merit with a total of 100 marks distributed as:

75 Marks: Based on qualifying examination marks

• Aggregate marks obtained in your PG degree (MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh/DrNB)
• Higher marks = Better score

10 Marks: Experience weightage (for years since PG completion)

• 1 mark per year since passing PG qualification
• Maximum 10 marks
• Calculated as on 1st January 2026

5 Marks: Central Institution bonus

• Given if you completed PG/Super specialty from Central Institutions recognized by MCI/NMC

Up to 10 Marks: Contract service weightage (if applicable)

• COVID-19 service: 5 marks per 6 months (0.83 mark per completed month)
• Tribal Area service: 2.5 marks per 6 months
• Rural Area service: 2 marks per 6 months
• Urban Area service: 1 mark per 6 months
• Contract service after PG completion only counts
