🎓 Educational Qualifications

Constable (UB) – Unarmed Branch

  • Required: Higher Secondary (HS) or Class XII from Government recognized Board or Council

Constable (AB) – Armed Branch

  • Required: HSLC or Class X from Government recognized Board or Council

Important Note: Candidates with Higher Secondary (HS) and above qualifications can apply for BOTH Unarmed Branch and Armed Branch, but must clearly indicate their preference.

Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 per month

🎯 Selection Process

The selection process consists of multiple stages:

Stage 1: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  • Constable (UB) Male & Female: 40 marks
  • Constable (AB) Male: 60 marks
  • Constable (AB) Female: 40 marks

Stage 2: Medical Examination

  • Conducted by Medical & Health Officer
  • Assessment of mental and bodily health

Stage 3: Physical Standard Test (PST)

  • Total Marks: 50 (100 MCQ questions × 0.5 marks each)
