The selection process is comprehensive and includes multiple stages to identify the most suitable candidates:

Stage 1: Documentation Verification

1. Diverted Vacancies: Assam Rifles reserves the right to divert vacancies from male to female category or vice versa if suitable candidates are unavailable in specific sports.
2. Sports Equipment: Candidates must bring their own personal sports gear, dress, and equipment required for field trials. No equipment will be provided by the recruitment agency.
3. Criminal Record Restriction: Candidates with any criminal conviction, arrest, or involvement under IPC or any other Act are not eligible.
4. Physical Disability: Candidates belonging to the physically handicapped/PWD category cannot apply for this recruitment.
5. Pregnancy Disqualification: Candidates found to be pregnant at any stage (PST, MAT, Field Trial, or DME) will be immediately disqualified.
