🎓 Educational Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- The degree must be recognized by UGC or relevant statutory authority
- Final year students are not eligible to apply
- Candidates must possess the degree certificate at the time of application
Note: There are no specific stream requirements – graduates from Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, or any other discipline can apply.
💰 Salary Details (per month)
Selected candidates will receive pay scale as per Bihar Government norms:
- Pay Level: As per 7th Pay Commission (varies by post)
- In-hand Salary: Approximately ₹35,000 to ₹60,000 per month (including basic pay + allowances)

🎯 Selection Process
The selection consists of three stages:
1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Total Marks: 150 marks
- Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Negative Marking: Yes, 1/3rd mark deducted for each wrong answer
- Nature: Screening test to shortlist candidates for Mains
2. Main (Written) Examination
- Type: Descriptive/Conventional
- Papers: Multiple papers covering General Studies, Optional Subjects, and Language
- Nature: Merit-based selection for Interview
- Some papers are qualifying, others are counted for final merit
3. Personality Test (Interview)
- Final stage for shortlisted candidates from Mains
- Assessment of personality, communication skills, and suitability for administrative services
- Marks obtained in Interview contribute to final merit
