🎓 Educational Qualifications
You should have one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from Science faculty from a recognized university/institute, OR
- Bachelor of Fire Engineering, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering + Divisional Officer Course from National Fire College, Nagpur, OR
- Minimum 3 months training for senior supervisory officer from any recognized Central Government institution

🎯 Selection Process
The selection is done on a 100-point scale:
Marking Breakdown:
- Academic Qualifications: 50 marks (divided into Matric, Intermediate, Graduation with 1st/2nd/3rd Division)
- Work Experience: 20 marks (2 marks awarded for each full year of experience beyond the required 12 years)
- Interview: 30 marks

⏳ Age Limit
Age Requirement: 40 to 55 years (as on August 1, 2025)

Experience Required
You need a minimum of 12 years in firefighting, which should include:

- Remaining 10 years in Pay Level-7 or 9 or equivalent
Important: Experience certificate from your controlling officer is mandatory. Candidates from Central or other states with Pay Level-8/10 experience can also apply.
