🎓 Educational Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Pass in SSLC (10th Standard)
- ITI National Trade Certificate in relevant trade
- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NCVT) in relevant trade
- All qualifications must be from AICTE/Government recognized institutes
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in relevant field
- Experience in Shipyard, Engineering Company, Government/Semi-Government establishments
- Completed Apprenticeship Training counts as experience
- Experience calculated as of January 23, 2026

Two-Phase Selection:
Phase I – Online Objective Test (30 Marks)

- Part A: General Knowledge (5 questions – 5 marks)
- Part A: Quantitative Aptitude (5 questions – 5 marks)
- Part B: Trade Related Questions (20 questions – 20 marks)
- No negative marking
Phase II – Practical Test (70 Marks)
- Conducted at CSL, Kochi
- Trade-specific practical assessment
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- General/EWS: 50% in each test
- OBC: 45% in each test (for reserved posts)
- SC/ST: 40% in each test (for reserved posts)
Merit List: Final selection based on combined marks from both phases (Total 100 marks)
