🎓 Educational Qualifications Required

For Clerk Position:

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) from a recognized university
  • Passed 10th (Matriculation) with Hindi as one of the subjects
  • Computer proficiency (Word processing and Spreadsheets)

For Stenographer Grade III Position:

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) from a recognized university
  • Must pass English Shorthand test at 80 words per minute (w.p.m.)
  • Must pass Transcription test at 20 words per minute (w.p.m.)

💰 Salary & Benefits

Consolidated Monthly Pay: ₹25,500/-

This is the consolidated pay at the minimum pay scale of the post. This will be provided for a period of 6 months or until regular appointments are made by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, whichever comes first.

Important: This position is a contract-based role with a 6-month stipend period, after which regular appointments will be made by the High Court.

🎯 Selection Process

For Clerk Position:

Two-Stage Selection:

  1. Written Examination:
    • English Composition: 50 marks (33% qualifying marks required)
    • General Knowledge: 50 marks (33% qualifying marks required)
    • Minimum Score: 40% in total (aggregate) to qualify
  2. Computer Typing Test (Qualifying):
    • Must achieve minimum speed of 30 words per minute (w.p.m.)

For Stenographer Grade III Position:

Skill-Based Assessment:

  1. Shorthand Test:
