🎓 Educational Qualifications

For Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B):

Essential:

  • Diploma in Engineering (3 years) in relevant discipline from a recognized institution/university
  • OR B.Sc. (3 years) with Mathematics as one of the subjects

Desirable:

  • Experience in relevant field
  • Knowledge of computer applications

For Technician-A (Tech-A):

Essential:

  • ITI Certificate (minimum 1 year duration) in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute
  • OR 10+2 with Science subjects

Note:

  • Candidates appearing in the final year/semester are NOT eligible
  • All educational qualifications must be completed before the last date of application

🎯 Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in THREE TIERS:

Tier-I: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Marks: 100 (1 mark each)
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

Subjects Covered:

  1. Mathematics/Science – 20 marks
  2. General Intelligence & Reasoning – 20 marks
  3. General Awareness – 20 marks
  4. English Language – 10 marks
  5. Trade/Discipline Related Questions – 30 marks

Tier-II: Skill Test/Trade Test (Qualifying)

  • Candidates shortlisted from Tier-I will undergo practical skill test
  • The test will be trade/discipline specific
  • Qualifying in nature – Marks not counted for final merit

Tier-III: Document Verification

  • Original certificates verification
  • Medical examination (if required)

Final Merit List: Based on Tier-I CBT marks only
