🎓 Educational Qualifications Required

For Professor Position:

Medical Candidates (Pre-para clinical departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry):

  • MD (Doctor of Medicine) OR MS (Master of Surgery) OR DNB in the concerned subject from a recognized institute
  • Essential: Post Graduate qualification in the subject with relevant experience

Medical Candidates (Super-specialty departments like Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology):

  • D.M./M.Ch./DNB/DrNB in the concerned subject from a recognized institute
  • Additional PG qualifications required for super-specialty roles

Non-Medical Candidates:

  • For Anatomy: M.Sc. in Medical Anatomy with PhD in Medical Anatomy
  • For Physiology: M.Sc. in Medical Physiology with PhD in Medical Physiology

For Associate Professor Position:

Same qualifications as Professor, but experience requirements are lower.

Essential Experience Requirements for Both Positions:

  • For Professor: Minimum 3 years as Associate Professor in a recognized/permitted medical college or institution
  • For Associate Professor: Minimum 4 years as Assistant Professor in a recognized/permitted medical college or institution

Research & Publications:

  • Professor: Minimum 4 research publications (at least 2 as Associate Professor) in indexed journals; author must be among first three or corresponding author
  • Associate Professor: Minimum 2 research publications in indexed journals; author must be among first three or corresponding author

Mandatory Certifications:

  • Basic course in Medical Education Technology from NMC-designated institutions
  • Basic course in Biomedical Research from NMC-designated institutions

💰 Salary / Stipend Details (Per Month)

Position Monthly Salary
Professor ₹2,22,543/- (consolidated)
Associate Professor ₹1,47,986/- (consolidated)
