🎓 Educational Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- Primary Qualification: MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), or DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in your medical specialty from a recognized institute
- Medical Registration: Updated and valid registration with NMC (National Medical Commission) or State Medical Council with all post-MBBS qualifications
- Exception: In ICU departments, if PG (Post-Graduate) doctors aren’t available, MBBS doctors with 2 years experience (minimum 1 year in the specialty) can apply for Non-PG Resident positions
Your medical registration must be current and recognized by the government.
💰 Salary & Stipend
Senior Resident Salary: Rs. 1,48,669 per month (Consolidated)
Non-PG Resident Salary: Rs. 1,23,196 per month (Consolidated)

- No Service Benefits: You won’t get Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, or Medical Benefits
- No Seniority: This role won’t count toward seniority or promotion in the ESIC system
