  • Research: Published at least 2 research papers after becoming Associate Professor (must be in first three authors)
  • Training: Completed Basic Course in Biomedical Research from recognized medical institution

For Associate Professor:

  • MD/MS Degree in the concerned subject
  • Experience: 4 years as Assistant Professor in recognized medical institution, OR
  • 5 years if directly appointed as Assistant Professor in Government medical institution, OR
  • Specialist Medical Officer with at least 5 years clinical experience (3 years teaching as Associate Professor)
  • Research: Published at least 2 research papers after becoming Assistant Professor (first three authors)
  • Training: Completed Basic Course in Biomedical Research

For Assistant Professor:

  • MD/MS Degree in the concerned subject
  • Experience: 1 year as Senior Resident in concerned subject, OR
  • Specialist Medical Officer with 1 year teaching or 2 years clinical experience, OR
  • Non-teaching Consultant with postgraduate degree and 2 years experience in 220+ bed Government hospital, OR
  • Diploma holders with 4 years Senior Resident experience before 2017, OR
  • Diploma holders with 6 years cumulative experience in government medical institution

For Senior Resident:

  • MD/MS Degree in the concerned subject
  • Experience: Relevant clinical and teaching experience as per specialty
  • Fresh MBBS graduates with internship completion are also eligible

For Non-Clinical Subjects (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology):

  • Qualification: Master of Science (M.Sc) with Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
  • Experience: Teaching experience as applicable for the position
