🎓 Educational Qualifications

You must have the following qualifications:

Essential Qualification:

• Master of Science (M.Sc) in any of the following specializations:
  • Home Science
  • Food and Nutrition
  • Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Food Science & Nutrition
  • Food Service Management and Dietetics
  • Clinical Nutrition

The degree must be from a recognized university established/incorporated in India or a deemed university under UGC Act, 1956.

Additional Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of computer applications
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi (or both)
• Must be a citizen of India

Desirable Qualifications:

• Computer knowledge certificate from any recognized training institution
• Computer as a subject in Bachelor’s/Master’s degree

💰 Salary / Stipend (Per Month)

First 5 Years:

• Fixed Monthly Pay: ₹40,800

After 5 Years (Upon Regularization):

• Pay Scale: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Level-6 as per 7th Pay Commission)
• Additional benefits: Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and other allowances as per Government of Gujarat

Selection is through a single-stage competitive examination conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) format using Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) or Optical Mark Recognition (OMR).

Examination Structure:

Part-A (90 Marks):

• Logical Test & Data Interpretation: 30 marks
• Mathematical Test: 30 marks
• Constitution, Current Affairs, English & Gujarati Comprehension: 30 marks
• Total Questions: 90
• Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Part-B (120 Marks):

• Subject-related questions and applications
• Total Questions: 120
• Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Total Examination:

• Total Marks: 210
• Total Questions: 210
• Total Duration: 3 hours

Negative Marking:

• 1/4 mark (0.25) deducted for each wrong answer

Qualifying Standards:

• Minimum 40% marks required separately in both Part-A and Part-B
• Merit list based on total/normalized marks obtained
