🎓 Educational Qualifications

You must have any one of the following:

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized university in India (Central/State Act, UGC Act deemed university, or approved Foreign University)

Option 2: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized university in India plus at least 2 years’ experience as:

  • Junior Pharmacist in Government/Government Undertaking/Board
  • Dispenser in hospitals/dispensaries
  • Pharmacist or Medical Representative in pharmaceutical companies

Additional Requirements:

  • Basic computer knowledge (mandatory)
  • Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
  • Must be registered with Gujarat State Pharmacy Council at time of appointment

💰 Salary Details (Per Month)

First 5 Years:

  • Fixed pay: ₹40,800 per month

After 5 Years (on satisfactory completion):

  • Pay Scale: ₹29,200 to ₹92,300 (Level-5)
  • As per 7th Pay Commission

🎯 Selection Process

Single-Stage Competitive Exam (MCQ Type – CBRT/OMR)

Part A (Total: 60 Marks)

  • Mental Ability Test & Data Interpretation: 30 marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 30 marks

Part B (Total: 150 Marks)

  • Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension: 30 marks
  • Subject-Related Questions: 120 marks

Exam Details:

  • Total Questions: 210 (60 in Part A + 150 in Part B)
  • Total Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer

Qualifying Criteria:

  • Minimum 40% marks in Part A
  • Minimum 40% marks in Part B
  • Both are compulsory for all categories

Merit Selection:
