🎓 Educational Qualifications
Scientist B (Non-Medical – Biomedical Sciences):
- Master’s Degree in a recognized subject related to Biomedical Sciences from a recognized university
- Desirable: Experience in Research & Development related to Biomedical Sciences in Government/Public Sector/Private Institutions
Scientist B (Non-Medical – IT/Computer Science):
- Qualification Option 1: M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science from a recognized university
- Qualification Option 2: ME / M.Tech (Computer Science) / MCA / 4-year B.E. or B.Tech or B.Sc. (Engineering) in Computer Science/IT with Ph.D. from a recognized university
- Desirable: Experience in Research & Development related to Biomedical Sciences or Regulatory New Approach Methodologies (NAM) in Government/Public/Private Institutions

The selection process consists of two stages to ensure merit-based recruitment:
Stage I: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Total Questions: 100 objective-type questions
- Total Marks: 100
- Nature: Qualifying (candidates must score 50% or more; 45% for SC/ST/PwBD)
- Question Types: Single correct answer from 4 options
