  • National Trade Certificate (NTC) OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training)

💰 Salary & Benefits (Monthly)

Pay Structure:

  • Basic Pay: ₹20,000 per month
  • Additional Components: Industrial DA (Dearness Allowance) + HRA (House Rent Allowance)

🎯 Selection Process

The selection is straightforward and merit-based. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Shortlisting

Candidates are shortlisted for practical test based on their NTC/NAC final examination percentage. We call 1.25 times the number of required positions in order of merit.

Step 2: Trade Test (Practical)

  • Format: Hands-on practical examination
  • Nature: Qualifying (you must pass to proceed)
  • Syllabus: Semi-skilled grade trade specifications
  • Failing Consequence: Those who fail the trade test will be disqualified

Step 3: Final Merit Declaration

Final merit is decided purely on the percentage of marks obtained in NTC/NAC final examination. If you have both NTC and NAC, your NTC percentage will be considered.

Tie-Breaking Rules (If Marks Are Equal):

  1. Ex-Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories get preference
  2. The older candidate gets preference
  3. Alphabetical order of names
