🎓 Educational Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- Class 10th/Matriculation pass with 45% marks in aggregate of five basic subjects
- Minimum 33% marks in each of the five subjects
- For boards with grading system, equivalent grades will be considered
- Indian Gorkhas: Simple Class 10th pass
Note: Candidates who have appeared in Class 10th exam and are awaiting results can also apply, but must produce the original marksheet during Phase II.

🎯 Selection Process
Two-Phase Selection:
Phase I – Common Entrance Exam (CEE)
- Computer-based online test at designated centers
- Conducted for provisionally shortlisted candidates
- Tentative dates: 01 June 2026 to 15 June 2026
Phase II – Recruitment Rally
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Medical Examination

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Standards:

Final Selection: Based on aggregate marks scored in CEE and performance in PFT. Selection is purely merit-based.
⏳ Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 17½ years
- Maximum Age: 22 years
- Eligible Birth Dates: 01 July 2005 to 01 July 2009 (both days inclusive)
Age Relaxation:
- Widows of Defence Personnel who died in harness: Up to 30 years (as on date of joining)
- Widows with children are eligible only if not remarried
📏 Physical Standards
Height: 162 cm (minimum)
Height Relaxation (4 cm): Candidates from North East states (Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam), Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Ladakher, and recognized tribal areas.
Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cm expansion required
Weight: Based on BMI standards (refer to detailed weight chart in notification ranging from 43.2 kg to 101.4 kg depending on height and age)
