Essential Qualification:

You must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in one of the notified Engineering streams from:

• Universities recognized by Central or State Legislature
• Institutions established by Act of Parliament
• Universities declared “Deemed” by UGC (University Grants Commission)
• IITs (Indian Institute of Technology)
• AICTE approved institutions
• NITSER or IIIT recognized institutions

✅ Final Year Students: If you’re in the final year of your engineering program, you can still apply! You must:

• Submit proof of passing your engineering degree by 01 October 2026
• Produce your degree certificate within 12 weeks of joining the academy

🎯 Selection Process

The selection is transparent and merit-based with these stages:

Stage 1: Online Application & Shortlisting

• Submit online application with your engineering marks
• Shortlisting based on cumulative percentage (CGPA/percentage converted to marks)

• Cut-off marks announced in first week of March 2026

Stage 2: SSB Interview (5 Days)

Two SSB Centres Available:

Interview Process:

• You select your preferred dates on first-come-first-served basis
• Two-stage interview conducted over 5 days

Stage 3: Medical Examination

• Conducted after SSB selection
• Valid for 270 days
• Must meet Army’s medical standards
