Essential Qualification:
You must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in one of the notified Engineering streams from:
- Universities recognized by Central or State Legislature
- Institutions established by Act of Parliament
- Universities declared “Deemed” by UGC (University Grants Commission)
- IITs (Indian Institute of Technology)
- AICTE approved institutions
- NITSER or IIIT recognized institutions
Important Notes:
โ Final Year Students: If you’re in the final year of your engineering program, you can still apply! You must:
- Submit proof of passing your engineering degree by 01 October 2026
- Produce your degree certificate within 12 weeks of joining the academy
โ Graduates from Foreign Universities: Unfortunately, candidates with degrees from foreign universities cannot apply for this recruitment.
โ Stream Matching is Strict: Your engineering stream on your degree certificate must exactly match the notified streams. Any variation will result in cancellation.

The selection is transparent and merit-based with these stages:
Stage 1: Online Application & Shortlisting

Stage 2: SSB Interview (5 Days)

Interview Process:
- You select your preferred dates on first-come-first-served basis
- Two-stage interview conducted over 5 days
- Evaluates your leadership, communication, decision-making abilities

Stage 3: Medical Examination
- Conducted after SSB selection
- Valid for 270 days
- Must meet Army’s medical standards
