🎓 Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have GATE 2023/2024/2025 qualifying marks in relevant streams (EC or CS code) along with one of the following:
Option 1: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in:
- Electronics
- Electronics & Telecommunication
- Electronics & Communication
- Electrical & Electronics
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science & Engineering
Option 2: Master’s Degree in:
- M.Sc in Electronics
- M.Sc in Computer Science
- M.Sc in Physics with Electronics
- M.Sc in Electronics & Communication
- Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
Note: All degrees must be from Government recognized University/College/Institute
💰 Salary Details (per month)
Pay Level: Level 7 in Pay Matrix
Basic Pay: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400
Additional Benefits:
- Special Security Allowance: 20% of basic pay
- All Central Government allowances applicable
- Cash compensation for holiday duty (up to 30 days)
🎯 Selection Process
The selection follows a three-stage process with a total of 1175 marks:
Stage 1 – GATE Score (750 marks): Candidates scoring qualifying cut-off marks in GATE 2023/2024/2025 will be shortlisted (10 times the number of vacancies)
Stage 2 – Skill Test (250 marks): Practical and technical test relevant to the job profile
Stage 3 – Interview (175 marks): Assessment based on subject knowledge and communication skills
A final merit list will be prepared based on combined performance in all three stages. A waiting list will also be maintained for future replacements.
⏳ Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 27 years (as on 16th November 2025)
Age relaxation applicable as per government rules for reserved categories.
