🎓 Educational Qualifications
Trade Apprentice Qualifications:
Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant):
- B.Sc. (3 years) in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/PwBD)
Fitter (Mechanical):
- Matriculation + ITI in Fitter Trade (minimum 2 years duration)
- Pass class required
Secretarial Assistant:
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com (3 years)
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/PwBD)
Accountant:
- B.Com (3 years)
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/PwBD)
Data Entry Operator (Fresher):
- Class XII Pass
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/PwBD)
Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holder):
- Class XII Pass + Skill Certificate in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/PwBD)
Technician Apprentice Qualifications:
Chemical:
- 3-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Petrochemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/PwBD)
Mechanical:
- 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/PwBD)
Electrical:
- 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Instrumentation:
- 3-year Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering/Instrumentation & Electronics/Instrumentation & Control Engineering/Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

💰 Stipend / Salary Details (per month)
- Stipend will be paid as per Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and IOCL guidelines
- Competitive monthly stipend during training period

🎯 Selection Process
✅ No Written Test / Interview
The selection is purely merit-based and follows these criteria:
- Percentage of marks in prescribed qualification (descending order)
- First-time apprenticeship applicants get preference
- In case of tie:
- Senior by age (Date of Birth) considered
- If DOB is same, higher percentage in Matriculation considered
- Document Verification of shortlisted candidates
- Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Test
- Final Engagement
Important: IOCL has NO obligation to offer employment after completion of apprenticeship training.
